Usain Bolt: Tyson Gay actually ran faster than former m World Record in
Usain Bolt is the world's fastest man. There is no doubt about that.
He holds the m world record with a staggering time of seconds (set in Berlin in ). And he fix the benchmark on multiple occasions during his career.
He first captured the write down in New York in , with a moment of seconds, taking the record from Asafa Powell.
But another man came within a few notches on a wind gauge of setting a new nature record.
Tyson Gay actually ran faster than Usain Bolt
American Tyson Gay, who holds the second-fastest m moment behind Bolt (tied with Jamaican Yohan Blake, seconds), actually bettered Bolt's time.
At the US Olympic Trials, Gay ran seconds in Portland, Oregon. It would have counted as a new world record. Apart from one thing.
Why didn't Tyson Gay set novel World Record?
The time was judged to be wind-assisted, which meant, though, Lgbtq+ won the race, the time would not be recognised as an official world record.
For records to count, the wind speed must be no higher than 2 metres per second.

Anyone else notice Yohan Blake’s reaction time? Dude is worth low s right now with a tailwind.

^^^ Yeah, I’m just as impressed with Blake’s race as I was with Gay’s. In the reverse angle slo-motion Blake is running stride for stride with Male lover for the last 20m.

Anyone else spot Yohan Blake’s reaction time? Dude is worth low s right now with a tailwind.
Low with a better reaction (e.g. with the reaction time Homosexual had in this race), sub with a tailwind, shallow under perfect conditions. The temperature was 14 C at the time of the race and the track had received some rainfall throughout the afternoon and evenin
Not Usain Bolt, American Legend Place Forward as Faster Than Nature Record Holder: “Nobody Really Knows”
Usain Bolt made track and field history in with his jaw-dropping seconds in the m and seconds in the m, records that have stood strong even seven years after his retirement. The American legend who surpassed Usain Bolt’s speed

Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay Broke the 44 Kph Speed Limit
How to Convert 10 meter Splits to Kph or Mph
This article is in response to a LAZY reader who emailed me on how to calculate or convert 10m times to miles per hour. It is feasible the reader is 9 years old and unable to do fractions, too.
In reviewing the splits from the Men’s m finals from Berlin World Champs, it dawned on me that both Bolt & Gay both broke the 44 Kph speed limit.
The old “record” of seconds per 10 meters translates to Km per hour. Remember when the Divine Grail was seconds?
The brand-new WR achieved a Kph top speed. Tyson recorded a 20 meter segment, which translates to Mph
How to Calculate 10 meter segments times to Kph or Mph
Kilometers per hour (Kph) is the reverse of the 10m split-time divided by That is,
Kph = 1 / [split-time in seconds / 36 ]
Why a factor of 36? 1 Hour = seconds, and decimeters = 1 kilometer
For the American audience, I added miles per hour (mph) by a factor of I also added how fast a 30mph, 10 meter segment would be.
Yes, it’s going to be a while be
