Can gay people get into heaven
Same-Sex Attraction
Same-sex attraction refers to emotional, physical, or sexual attraction to a person of the same gender. The intended meaning of gender in the family proclamation is biological sex at birth. The trial of same-sex attraction is not the same for everyone. Some people may feel exclusively attracted to the same gender, while others may feel attracted to both genders.
The Church distinguishes between same-sex attraction and homosexual behavior. People who experience same-sex attraction or identify as queer, lesbian, or bisexual can make and keep covenants with God and fully and worthily participate in the Church. Identifying as gay, lesbian, or pansexual or experiencing same-sex attraction is not a sin and does not prohibit one from participating in the Church, holding callings, or attending the temple.
Sexual purity is an inherent part of God’s prepare for our happiness. Sexual relations are reserved for a man and lady who are married and promise complete loyalty to each other. Sexual relations between a man and woman who are not married, or between people o
A: First off, leave me say that I can judge no ones salvation. Only God can ultimately know if a person is saved or not. Of course, if a person has surrendered his or her existence to Jesus Christ and accepted what the Bible says a person must do to be saved, then that person WILL be saved. (For the sake of space, I will not go through the steps. Please see: Jesus Died For You!)
According to the Bible, a key step in salvation is repentance. Repentance and salvation are connected over and over (Acts )(Mk )(2 Cor )(Mt )(Heb ). In coming to Jesus, we must ALL admit that we are sinners, and we need His sacrificial payment for our sins. We must also experience great sorrow and remorse for our sins, and be willing to twist from them, forsake them, and go in a new direction with our lives. This is repentance. If we are willing to turn, God will help us. However, if we come to Christ unwilling to turn from sin, we cannot acquire a saving relationship with Him.
Looking at repentance in regards to homosexuality, the Bible clearly says that homosexuality is a sin (Lev )(Lev )(Rom ,)(1 Tim

(Letter)
I know the Bible says it’s a sin, but it also says that the only unforgivable sin is not accepting Jesus. If a Same-sex attracted person accepts Jesus but does not change his lifestyle, can he travel to Heaven? I have a cousin who’s Gay.

You’ve asked a very significant question—and a very hard one.
And you are exactly right: there is only one sin that is unforgivable. That is the sin of not believing and not receiving Jesus Christ into your life.
A lgbtq+ or homosexual person can acceptChrist, just as an alcoholic, a drug addict, or a mass-murderer can accept Christ. Jesus’ offer of salvation is expose to everyone.
Your doubt is whether someone can acceptChrist, not change his lifestyle, and still travel to heaven. The Bible teaches that if someone has truly accepted Christ into his being, nothing can maintain him out of Heaven. In John , Christ says of Christians,
“I grant them eternal animation, and they shall never perish; no one can take them out of My hand.”
So, Lucy the real ask, I believe, is whether
Practicing Homosexuals Can Go to Heaven?
This is a complicated question that involves many aspects of theology, and Christians don't always reply it in the same way. But as I see it, it's essentially a specific version of the broader question "Can sinners go to heaven?" I believe the answer is that some but not all practicing homosexuals will go to heaven, and others will go to hell.
Homosexuality is a sin - a heinous sin! But so is adultery - another sexual sin. However, homosexuality is not blasphemy of the Blessed Spirit (generally understood to be attributing the Holy Spirit's works to demonic powers; Matt. ). Therefore, salvation is still a possibly for homosexuals. Salvation in Christ Jesus alone is their / our only hope.
It is important at this point to distinguish between four different types of practicing homosexuals:
- (1) Genuine Christians: Those who are regenerate and genuinely repentant and sorrowful over their sin, but who can't "presently" seem to break out of certain sins (cf. Rom. ). These need loving biblical counseling and the work of Church discipline
