Cape town gay sauna
First things first, you need to visit Cape Town. It is an absolute must! The first second we visited we had no idea what to expect or what it would be like to be gay in Cape Town. However, we rapidly fell in love with this incredible city and found that ‘gay Cape Town, South Africa’ really does exist!
Cape Town as a destination is truly spectacular. It is a modern city surrounded by breath-taking nature. Its mountain ranges including the iconic Table Mountain are awe inspiring, its white sand beaches perfect in the summer and of course we have to state the many rolling hills filled with beautiful wineries.
Beyond its natural beauty, there is an abundance of exciting wildlife to watch. Here you can proceed whale watching, visit ostrich farms, see seals at the V&A Waterfront, hundreds of penguins at Boulders Beach and for the brave, go great ivory shark cage diving!
Luckily for us, Cape Town also happens to be a very popular gay move destination (which we never knew) and has been for a number of years. Perhaps after reading this gay guide to Cape Town it will come
Gay Cape Town the best gay hotels, bars, clubs more
Cape Town is breathtaking from above. Hell, it’s breathtaking from all angles and has to be a contender for one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Flanked by the impressive Table Mountain, the city curves around the coast like a loving hug, which fits with the city’s moniker: “the mother city.” Highest travel authorities like The Guardian, The New York Times, and TripAdvisor possess named Cape Town a top destination, and we couldn’t agree more. It’s an incredibly diverse, gay-friendly city and it will blow you away with its beauty, the welcoming attitude of its residents, and the pure range of attractions and outdoor activities available, from hiking to shark diving to helicopter rides to wine drinking—yes, that counts as an outdoor activity if you do it at one of the many wineries surrounding Cape Town.

Visiting The HotHouse Steam and Leisure came with high expectations. After two weeks of traveling this fascinating country I came to declare the high typical of tourism, accommodations and attractions. These people know how to host! This eventually led to a slight disappointment where it comes to its free gay sauna in the Cape Town. The HotHouse Steam and Leisure is located in a beautiful neighborhood but lacks the South African hospitality standards. Firstly, the sauna is currently existence renovated, and the smell of fresh paint is very present. That said, it seems theres still a lot of work to be done.
Entry was quite cheap if compared to western Europe. R per person including one towel and complimentary flip-flops which is a nice contact. Your locker includes 1 condom and 1 lube. Condoms are freely spread around the venue for you to use. My locker was actually half broken 😦 .
Cleanliness
Unfortunately I cannot phone this place neat. Cigarette butts can be found on the floors that could use a swipe of bleach as well as rust and mold covering parts of the walls.
Gay Guide Cape Town - Western Cape
Cape Town, known to its locals as the Mother Capital, is Africa's self-proclaimed gay capital. It also just happens to be one of the worldâs most beautiful cities: a cosmopolitan city nestled between the heights of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles and the excellent beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. If you are into instinctive beauty, try the view from Table Mountain or a wander through the Winelands (Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl). If beaches are your thing, check out Clifton 3rd, Camps Bay or the nudist Sandy bay. If it's shopping that turns you on, look no further than the Waterfront or the other arrogant members of Cape Town's Huge Five shopping Centres. De Waterkant - Cape Town's Gay Village. Centrally situated and within walking distance of the City Centre and the V&A Waterfront, and a few minutes drive from the best beaches. If you want to sleep with, and/or eat, drink or shop around "family", then de Waterkant is a good choice! Cape Town has everything the gay traveller can want.
