St. Pete Beach was recently listed as Tripadvisor’s No. 1 Beach in the United States in Featuring a friendly, laid-back beach town with a beautiful waterfront view, St. Pete Beach is house to County Park Beach, Pass-a-Grille Beach and the popular Upham Beach.

Treasure Island Beach, known as an LGBTQ+ friendly beach, is located just west of St. Petersburg and hosts a flurry of activities from swimming and shelling to snorkeling and parasailing. The gorgeous stretch of sand is utopian for those looking to spend a full night at the beach.

Clearwater Beach is known as a social hub in the area. You can always locate groups gathered to compete volleyball, enjoy water sports or tan on the warm sand. The winding BeachWalk promenade snakes along the mile beach toward surf shops, seafood restaurants and hotels.

North Lido Beach is a popular spot for Sarasota’s LGBTQ+ community. Located three miles from Bayfront Park, with trails, hiking, beach access, and swimming — it’s perfect for canoe and kayak launching.

We'll be very honest, before coming to Sarasota we knew very minuscule about it. However, it turned out to be the hidden gem of our trip, a place we would love to restore to. As skillfully as being a cultural hotspot of Florida with so many things to do, Sarasota also has a little fun gay scene worth checking out, with annual events like the “Harvey Milk Festival” and “Sarasota Pride”.
