LGBTQ+ GAY WEDDINGS
As a London and Brighton gay wedding photographer, I absolutely love shooting LGBTQ+ gayweddings.
For me, it's like feeling really at home like you involve. Like family. (Plus they are always loads of fun and filled with love).
Some people speak there is no difference between photographing a queer or linear wedding. But I think there is. Some couples still come across it tricky booking hotel rooms for two guys or two girls, or trans guys or girls. Some folks can confront a frosty look when trying on wedding dresses. There are still elements of the wedding industry that are way behind the times.
LGBTQ + Lgbtq+ weddings are awesome because couples do exactly what they yearn for their big day. You don't have to follow convention. Do things your way. If that means having 6 bridesmaids dressed in wedding dresses or tuxedos that is fine. Some have best men, some contain best women. Some have top people. Some have drag queens, some get ready together, some get ready separately. Some boogie down the aisle to Abba. (yup Katy and I did that!!). and of course, let's not forget that the
We just couldnt remain to post photos from this attractive gay wedding, at Highland Ranch. Kelli and Dani had a very playfulness and intimate queer wedding, it was fit into a weekend retreat for their closest family and friends. What made it more awesome for us was that they had a very sweet first glance and did their portraits before the wedding ceremony took please. We passion first glances; the couple got to see each-other before the ceremony and spend a very private and intimate portrait session occasion with each other. This part of the portrait session usually is very a emotional tear jerker. Dani and Kelly completely expressed their love and compassion for one another. We absolutely loved their wedding dresses, especially how they wore backwards colors, so perfect!
We were so honored that Kelly and Dani chose us to document their beautiful commitment ceremony. We are so deeply touched when two people truly in love resolve to honor and seal their cherish and commitment for each other despite being the identical sex and going ahead against normal conventions. We always in awe when a lesbian and gay cou
Celebrating Your Love
LGBTQ+ wedding photography is something I’m passionate about. This year, my wife Jessica and I acknowledged our 10th wedding anniversary and our 24th anniversary as a couple (you can see our 20th anniversary and our 16th anniversary blog posts if you are interested and not totally grossed out by super sappy stuff).
Since , I’ve had the chance to photograph many LGBTQ couples for family portraits, engagement sessions, and, of course, weddings. But I’ve photographed a lot of straight couples as well, so why is this page labeled LGBTQ+ Wedding Photographer instead of just Wedding Photographer? Good question.
The short version is that I label all the images and weddings on my blog so that non-traditional couples who need a wedding photographer can find me quickly and easily. (If you’re interested in the long version, check out this article I wrote for Rangefinder magazine about being a queer wedding photographer and the importance of using labels on the internet.)
In these polarized—let’s be honest, pretty much apocalyptic—times, there seem to b

As an LGBT wedding photographer in Kent, I love the nice of love that sees the beauty within other people. And thats exactly the kind of care for that S+T possess.
I first met S+T when S reached out to have me photograph their engagement proposal at Brighton Pier. And I couldnt help but admire them both and their promise to one another. Though Ss health conditions were known prior to them getting serious, they both have such unwavering aid for each other despite S now relying on a wheelchair full age. Whilst T helps S physically (and obviously emotionally), it is so transparent that S has the biggest heart and is such a source of comfort for T. They both dote on another and are each others biggest source of comfort.
