Howard Stern Is &#;Dumbfounded&#; Over Kid Rock & Travis Tritt&#;s Transphobia

Howard Stern is speaking out accompanying Kid Rock and Travis Tritt&#;s transphobic responses to trans activist Dylan Mulvaney teaming up with Anheuser-Busch to promote the brand’s Easy Carry Contest.

&#;I thought there must be a piece of this story that I&#;m missing,&#; the host said during his SiriusXM radio present on Monday (April 10). &#;I&#;m not bothered by gay people or transsexual people. They don&#;t impact my life, they don&#;t hurt my life. I adore when people are in treasure. You wanna be a woman? Be a woman. You wanna be a dude, be a dude. Be whatever you f&#;ing want. As long as you ain&#;t hurting anybody, I&#;m on your team.&#;

Stern&#;s thoughts come a week after Rock posted a video to his social media accounts wearing a white MAGA hat. “Grandpa’s feeling a bit frisky today,” he shared, adding that he wants to make his message as “clear and concise as possible.” He then shot a semi-automatic rifle at three cases of Bud Light, telling the c

Country music singer Travis Tritt recently tweeted a controversial comment in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo shooting. The tweet was in support of gun owners but at the same time took an implicit swipe at Muslims and the liberal media. The tweet has generated the predictable outrage, but also a lot of supportive replies.

It is interesting that we are asked to NOT determine all Muslims by the actions of a not many lunatics. Too bad gun owners can&#;t get identical judgement [sic].

A quick Google search reveals that Travis Tritt is an unclosed Republican, which is exactly what you would assume him to be if he weren’t a icon. Tritt is a male country music singer from Marietta, Georgia (pronounce May-Rhetta by us Georgians) which likely makes him what I’ll call a visceral Red. In the US, musicians, actors and other celebrities are generally related with liberalism, but liberalism and the Democrat party coalition have become increasingly focused on upholding the PC narrative and enforcing rightthink, and much less concerned with the economic status of the w

As I write this, Travis Tritt is boycotting Anheuser-Busch over the company’s inclusion of a trans person in a beer commercial. As laughable -– no, pathetic -– as this boycotting is, it indicates a longstanding pattern in country’s mainstream narrative as music for straight pale cis dudes. Never brain the outstanding work of women, people of dye, and LGBTQIA+ folks in country music -– it seems like mainstream state music doesn’t want fans -– let alone artists -– like me.

No matter: there are many mainstream country hits of the last few decades that are near and cherished to my heart, regardless of how many industry gatekeepers don’t want to acknowledge the existence of fans marginalized in categories other than, though overlapping with, social class.

Near the top of the list of hits that represent so much to me is Tim McGraw’s soaring, epic classic, “Li
